Susan has been the driving force behind hockey at Makauri School. She contributes her time to coach, referee, fundraise and help with the administration for over 6 years.
Susan’s nomination said, “Her efforts mean that the school has multiple teams in each age grade this year. She is dedicated, enthusiastic and above all, fair and inclusive throughout her work. She always puts her hands up to coach junior / inter-schools tournaments and summer league teams (even when her kids aren’t involved!) and always makes sure that every kid feels valued. Makauri School is very lucky to have her!”
The monthly winner will receive a $25 voucher from Peppers Beachfront, Sport Maker merchandise, and a volunteer discount card.
