Midway Surf Life Saving Club

Midway Surf Lifesaving Club is Gisborne’s leading surf club with a number of well-known international surf life saving athletes. Our main focus at Midway is safety and fun in the surf.

Established in 1952 we have a broad range of members who make our club a great asset to the Gisborne community.

Our beach is patrolled on both Saturday and Sunday from November through to mid-March to ensure maximum safety at Midway Beach. In addition to our lifeguard service, our surf sport programmes cater to all age groups.
