As a registered physiotherapist you will be responsible for:
- assessing, prescribing, implementing and evaluating in-home strength and balance programmes for those unable to access community classes
- involving whanau members, primary care team and/or in-home care support workers whenever appropriate
- providing educational support to community groups/health providers; and
- working with others in the community with similar goals.
To be successful in this position you will need to be able to appropriately relate to, and communicate with a wide range of people, be flexible with your delivery, and confident in your ability to positively affect those you work with.
This is a fixed term 20 hours a week contract until June 30th 2020 pending a review by Hauora Tairawhiti.
